Travel in a 4-wheel drive vehicle that is both rugged and safe, yet comfortable. You enjoy a scenic ride to the canyon where the guide explains geology, cultural history and modern issues. Upon arrival at the site you will step into the desert and enter an amazing fantasy world in stone. Photographers, with proper exposures, you can bring out the best in your own creativity.

During the summer months you will get you to the canyon prior to noon to capture the shafts of light coming down into the canyon for the first hour (weather permitting). Once inside the canyon during summer months your guide will assist you in finding the best lighting in the canyon. It is suggested to stay with your guide to capture the highlights of the canyon. The second hour colors are more vibrant (red, blue and purple). You will be in the canyon for approximately 2 hours to photograph and experience Antelope Canyon.

During the winter months the shafts of light do not occur as the sun is traveling more over the southern hemisphere. Colors during these months are more pastel (pinks, yellow, peach and orange).

Abstract and black and white photography will find all time slots excellent.

We do not guarantee the quality of the photos you take. It all depends on your skill, type of camera, camera settings, as well as the light conditions in the canyon that day.
